Feature comparison

Some filters depend on plan: Viewed your Company Page recently, Product Category Intent and Executive TeamLink need Advanced or Advanced Plus, and Past customer needs Advanced Plus.

LinkedIn's own pages disagree on team features: the help article and comparison table list TeamLink, seat management, team reporting and CSV upload on Advanced, while a footnote on the Premium comparison page says Advanced Plus, or Advanced bought through a sales rep. If one of these is your reason to upgrade, confirm with LinkedIn before buying. More on TeamLink.

When Advanced is worth the extra US$40

If none of these apply, the extra US$480 a year (monthly billing; US$720 on annual) buys nothing you will use.

  • Your colleagues have large networks in your target accounts, so TeamLink finds warm intros.
  • You share content and want Smart Links to see who opened it.
  • A manager needs to assign seats and see team usage.
  • You want to upload a target account list from CSV to build an account list fast.

When Advanced Plus is worth a sales call

Advanced Plus is the only plan with CRM integration. CRM Sync imports your CRM accounts and contacts into Sales Navigator and can write InMails, notes and calls back to the CRM. It is also the only official way to create CRM leads from Sales Navigator. See Sales Navigator CRM integration for what syncs with each CRM.

Getting your leads out of Sales Navigator

LinkedIn does not offer a CSV or Excel export of leads or accounts on any plan. Its official route out is CRM Sync on Advanced Plus.

None of the three plans exports search results to CSV or Excel.

If you are on Core or Advanced and want a spreadsheet, the options are copying rows by hand, a Sales Navigator scraper that runs in your browser, or a cloud tool. Our guide to export Sales Navigator leads compares them.

Know the rule before you pick one: LinkedIn's User Agreement prohibits scraping or copying the Services, including through browser plugins and add-ons, and LinkedIn says extensions may limit your searches or lead to restrictions. The safety guide covers that risk in full.
