Break-even by deal size

Divide the yearly price by your profit per deal. That is how many extra deals a year Sales Navigator must help you win.

Profit per dealDeals to cover Core annual (US$1,079.88)Deals to cover Core monthly (US$1,439.88/yr)
US$5002.22.9
US$2,0000.540.72
US$10,0000.110.14
Our arithmetic from LinkedIn's US list prices, checked 2026-10-20.

Who gets value

  • B2B sellers whose buyers are on LinkedIn and can be described by title, seniority, function and company size.
  • Founders and freelancers doing their own outbound who prospect at least weekly.
  • Agencies and list builders who need targeted lists for several clients.
  • Account-based teams that track a fixed list of companies and want job-change and growth alerts.
  • Recruiters who also sell to hiring managers (see Recruiter vs Sales Navigator).

Who usually does not

  • Consumer businesses, or local services whose buyers rarely use LinkedIn.
  • Anyone who wants verified emails in one click: Sales Navigator is built around InMail and LinkedIn messages, not email lists.
  • People who will search once and stop. The value comes from saved searches, lists and alerts over months.
  • Large markets where you need far more than 2,500 leads per search and will not split searches.

Getting your leads out of Sales Navigator

LinkedIn does not offer a CSV or Excel export of leads or accounts on any plan. Its official route out is CRM Sync on Advanced Plus.

The hidden cost is time spent getting leads out: Sales Navigator has no export.

If you are on Core or Advanced and want a spreadsheet, the options are copying rows by hand, a Sales Navigator scraper that runs in your browser, or a cloud tool. Our guide to export Sales Navigator leads compares them.

Know the rule before you pick one: LinkedIn's User Agreement prohibits scraping or copying the Services, including through browser plugins and add-ons, and LinkedIn says extensions may limit your searches or lead to restrictions. The safety guide covers that risk in full.
